For Fantinel 2014 is the year of renewal. Or rather, it is the year in which the passion for wine, the love for its lands and the bond between tradition and innovation are conveyed with the newest communication technologies. Vinitaly (Veronafiere, April 6-9) will be the opportunity to unveil the surprises of Fantinel new image.
An important project, totally Made-In-Friuli, born from the desire to tell a story through a tool able to express with strength authentic emotions. The emotions that every day, with commitment and pursuit of excellence, Fantinel dedicates in its art of making wine. It has been decided to develop the story through a movie, whose first version is linked to the leader of Fantinel house, the sparkling wine that is gaining an amazing success all over the world: Prosecco. The result is a captivatingly intense video, thanks to a Chinese-boxes structure, a story within the story that mixes nature, art, people that make wine and people that drink it, united by a common theme: the technology making the label speak. The smart-phone acts as a character and, at the same time, as the tool transmitting the video itself. A new development of Social Mobile Marketing going far beyond widely spread technologies such as qr code, layar and conventional applications. The label, with the new Fantinel App, becomes the means whereby the user is transferred into the so-called "augmented reality": the actual reality is joined to a kind of astonishing virtual reality rich in contents (obviously including the video) for a wow effect. The overall project, which will have further significant developments over the next few months, was created and developed by a successful partnership between the companies Ikon, Juliagraf / Gezapp and Grafiche Filacorda, important points of reference in cutting-edge business communication in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
All this is summarized in three words elected for the new corporate slogan, mirror of Fantinel vocation to produce superior quality wines with a unique style, expressions of inimitable lands and grapes that, just as emotions can do, are imprinted in the memory: FEEL THE EMOTION. At Vinitaly 2014, among Fantinel oenological pearls, a particularly prestigious jewel stands out: new Fantinel "One & Only" Vintage Prosecco. An evocative name, which gives a glimpse on the philosophy that marked the conception and production of this precious Prosecco Brut and enhances its high quality and uniqueness in Friuli Venezia Giulia region. Vintage and single-vineyard, it is born from the selection of the best grapes offered by 2012, coming from few hectares of that “heaven-vineyard” Fantinel can boast in Tauriano di Spilimbergo, in Grave del Friuli area. The low yield per hectare and the absolute quality of the grapes are at the basis of the exclusivity that characterizes Fantinel “One & Only”, produced in limited edition and conceived for the most educated palates.
