For the British the most popular wine to stock is produced by Fantinel company (Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy). In fact, its Prosecco has defeated all the renowned wines of the world, hitting the top of the "must-have" list edited by the prestigious "The Morning Advertiser" British magazine in collaboration with CGA Strategy.
The top 100 list of the drinks to be stored according to the preferences of UK consumers, sommeliers, professionals and restaurateurs also considers sales volumes and includes both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

“This unexpected acknowledgement fills us with pride, but also enthusiasm and energy in view of increasingly important international results”, Marco Fantinel, President of the company, declares.
“Fantinel Prosecco is the product of a great team effort, from the dedication of the technical staff including agronomists, oenologists and production workers, up to the sales-team’s driving force. It’s the result of a true passion, born in the vineyard and arrived on the tables of 90 countries in the world."

Fantinel Prosecco has been for years among the most popular bubbles in the UK. A sparkling wine that impresses with its intensity, elegance, structure and longevity, expressing Fantinel commitment to quality excellence. Besides refinement and personality, this product also features a great versatility, able to seduce with its freshness and authenticity the most varied tastes.

Fantinel Prosecco great success in the UK is also connected to the business strategy developed by the company over the last 15 years, focusing on direct contact with consumers and wine lovers, through constant events promoting Italian and Friulian wines, territory and culture, as well "Made-in-Italy" lifestyle. The result is the presence in 2,500 British restaurants’ wine lists and today the inclusion in the top brand list.

40% of Fantinel group’s export turnover comes from the UK. Foreign markets account for 65% of the total turnover, which is over 25 million Euros.
